Thailand Vacation - Part 1

I live here in Thailand, and have been for almost two years. Many of my friends in America are always asking me questions like what to do and where should I stay. Let me see if I can help a bit '. After thinking about this need, I will have more than one post. So here is the first.

All centers more or less if you are single or traveling with his family. There are some places in Thailand where it is more or less, that this is nottake your family. I would suggest that Pattaya is not a place to take your family. Pattaya is almost but not quite, a singles haven. Lots of adult oriented entertainment, ie; go-go bars featuring topless dancers and sometimes nude dancers, and a plethora of prostitutes. "Although the government of Thailand says there are no prostitutes." :-) I have to put in a word here, that there are family's vacationing in Pattaya. There are some family entertainment here, sailing, fishing, wave riders, para-sailing, etc., but by and large, it's mostly adult oriented.

I would suggest the best family area's are, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Bangkok. These places are geared more for family. Concerning hotels. When you google up hotel suggestions, you pretty much see the top end hotel ranges. Try googleing, "cheap hotels". It's my opinion, the Suhkumvit area of Bangkok has more reasonable priced hotels, and it's easier to get around from that part of town. Especially near the Nana and Asoke area. These two areas have easy access to the Skytrain overhead and underground stations. There are a lot of shopping malls, restaurants and internet cafes. There are far too many tourists in this area, but sometimes a good thing, because there is virtually no crime in that area, the police frown on tourists arriving in Thailand, and English is spoken quite well here.

As for May Chiang, try a hotel near the centerthe large central square. There you will be near everything; shopping, night market, pubs, restaurants, travel guides, etc.

I'm not that familiar with Phuket, but would suggest you stay in central Phuket near the beaches.

The weather here in Thailand is always nice, if not always a little warm, although depending on the time of year, it can get a little cool in the evening. Wear light clothes. Walking shorts, short sleeve shirts, comfortable walking sandals. You will probably do a lot of walking, so bring your favorite, comfortable footwear. Bring a light sweater or jacket for some evenings. Don't worry about not bringing enough, you can find anything you want here, which goes also with toilet articles. Don't over pack, you can find soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, umbrella's, in fact, almost everything. So don't over pack. There are bookstores galore in the Suhkumvit area, so you can find all your maps and travel guides there.

I have probably left something out, but will try to work on in my next post.

When vacation rental guests first arrive to a new or exotic holiday home in a foreign city, often the first thing they seek out is the "villa book," or the "home instruction guide." The Book can be the key to having happy guests. The Book saves vacation property owners/agents a lot of time and potential trouble because The customer will be able to help themselves find answers and guidance, rather than the owner or manager whenever they have a question or concern.

Local Customs or "Must-Knows." List any local customs, schedule, or neighborhood quirks that may be important for the guest to note. For example, in some areas, "Streets close up and get mighty dangerous after 11:30pm," whereas somewhere else, "Cafes and restaurants get going and tango dancing starts everywhere at 11:30pm." Do your guests a favor and alert them of the nuances.

Food: Local Restaurants, Take-Outs, Delivery Food, and Prepared Foods counters in the Grocery Store. Provide a selection of menus for every taste and eventuality, preferably laminated and kept in a bound book for guests' perusal.

Service Providers: Include a list of local recommended chauffers, drivers, tour guides, fitness instructors, personal assistants, private chefs, personal tutors, caterer, etc. who may benefit the guests during their stay.

- Alternative health therapies such as: Colonic or hydrotherapists Chakra, reiki, or spiritual healers

- Qualified psychotherapists, psychiatrists, social workers or marriage counselors

- Massage therapists, foot reflexologists

- Cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists, dentists, hair stylists, makeup artists for special events or "in case of asthetic emergencies"

Local Language: provide guests with a "take away" sheet of local language translations/pictographs which they can use while "out and about" especially if it's a given the locals will not speak your guests' language. Provide the guest with translations and phonetic instructions for expressing various basic needs, wants, or requests that may come up along the way.

When guests are provided with a book filled with all this helpful information, their stay is enhanced and potential problem calls are minimized for the owner or agent. By giving your guests everything they need in one handy place, great holidays are possible both in and out of your luxury vacation rental.

You must also have the widest possible picture of your fantastic properties and to help exude the charm ofLocation of the city, beautiful surroundings, etc. so many people if it is a selection of similar properties for rent that seems the best choice they face. Before this background, how many photos you are allowed on your ad - 20 is a good average. Be careful, some sites offer 4 and then pay extra for the other.

Make sure the site you choose good "Google" ranking

We have all the search engine "Google" used to see if weslightly upward or to the source of a Web page on a given topic. If the results of your search, many people look only to the first page - then it is important that the page you get a good "Google" ranking - a "fact". Vacation Rental Homes Safe

Yes, it could be wasted looking site with some fancy features really looking to put together someone is back in the bedroom half an hour in order to steal your money. But it could also be an entrepreneur who does not appreciate the value of the Internet and is able to offer a quality product to be.

And the crooks do not need to look at all the sites poor. E 'enough for those with malicious intent to copy a Web page complete (ownership and all) and simplythen follow the payment posting to your account. All you have to do is sleep, just for future bookings and can be on thousands of holiday bookings and payments, and many overseas tourists could prove to nowhere.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to check the validity of the Site or the services that are available. It is simply falling for a scam in which the property does not exist foul, but it ispotentially thousands of people have paid with your reservation.

For this reason, it is important to take some basic steps in the path of self-protection, your money and your holiday.

I often rent a house purchase directly from the website owner. And this is a big concern for me. So I would never book a holiday to a web site without first owner via e-mail a question or two.

Read the answer and just think for a minute or two. Do you thinkactually know the property? They wrote in a style of English that you plan to use it? If I am booking a cabin UK, and the answer is obvious from a non-native speakers, then I know why.

If you have a few basic steps, including the study can be taken to the most popular Web sites post the property, then it may pay period. And here the owners often take on multiple forms of payment with credit cards and debit cards, PayPal, check or bank transfer.

Butthe problem is that "check and wire transfer the money just went away, and there is no way back if there are problems. Even with debit cards do not have the same level of protection.

So, if you are staying in the internet it is always advisable to pay by credit card or PayPal by when, alternatively, because they both offer much protection and if the leave is the site to falsify the result, then you have some protection through thePayment provider.

The travel industry is now a $ 7000000000000 annual market worldwide, one of the largest and most important markets available. Everyone loves holidays, and the money generated more markets in emerging economies will travel industry to grow and grow. How to capitalize on this growing market party? Well, there are a number of options available, Including the use of travel agents, buying a timeshare participation in holiday club and in this article I will try to and explain the differences and compare the three methods.

Travel Agencies:

Travel agents have a long time and can look after your holiday requests from the flight only, hotel / apartment buildings, tours, car hire, in fact, Almost any request can leave. TAs are the Commission is based, I know That Their gains from the difference between the cost of the holiday with them and what they sell> Holidays to you. travel agencies offer one-stop option for all the needs of the holiday, but many of them are public, subject to the travel agents over the road, trying to push its own offerings, and increase their profitability can lead to increased costs.

Timeshare:

Timeshare goes back many years, where companies have bought or built resorts and high quality are sold weeks for the journeyPublish. This company was mushrooms and share an important sector. Their appeal increases owners of a timeshare could share trading and combine their week with an investment in a country a country anthers complex. Timeshare developed a number of disadvantages. First, they were expensive, but to adhere to the value of your timeshare is decreased drastically after the purchase makes it difficult to sell your timeshare, if you want. Furthermore, time-sharingHe bought weeks at various levels, red usually the most expensive, because for a week in high season. If you could exchange your timeshare in one of the share is only for weeks at a similar season-swap or less. The other major disadvantage which came with a timeshare is the weekly maintenance. If the timeshare week or not, you are still liable for the costs of weekly maintenance.

Holiday Club

holiday clubs have been brought to lifeMake available to members to travel and vacation without the disadvantages of timeshare and without the profits levels needed by travel agencies. Buy Holiday Vacation Club at substantially reduced prices and then sell them to their members, most with last-minute offers, where the greatest discounts are available. There are ongoing costs associated with holiday clubs, but may be entering a high initial cost of a time, although new entrants to this trend are one-off costs go down modes. Vacation clubs do not have seasons, if you are a member, you can buy a vacation anywhere, anytime and if I do not have the club there are no ongoing fees. One advantage of holiday clubs is the ability to sell to another club memberships, which means in fact that by selling a certain Group can recoup the initial investment. Again, you must join a club that can offer them the places and locations that will surely> Holidays in and benefit the club once per year.

Finally, there are advantages and disadvantages to all three options. Travel agents are a good place for one or more single holiday, but you get the cost of profits for the travel company. Timeshares are a good option if all year at certain times of happy holidays and enjoy the complex, where it was purchased weeks. You must takeAccount the costs of ongoing maintenance and the ability to easily exchange your weeks for stays at different places. Vacation clubs can be very valuable, but we must realize that connect to resume the initial costs. If you leave most like to do a year in different locations, a Vacation Club, you can select for. Also, if you like the idea of using this as a home business and get the value of low-cost holiday then this may be another oneAttraction for you. What do you do your research and ensure that your African Vacation Club has the variety will take care of all holiday needs, not just one.

Internet seems to have a dramatic impact on the travel industry. This gave the public the opportunity to easily, flights, rental cars and hotels through the Internet has certainly lowered the prices. There are some drawbacks if you try to buy a complete holiday canGo to form the site of the site and try to put together the whole package. You must also purchase directly through the Internet as your rights are different from other call options carefully. Certainly for the flights, it is very difficult to see behind the Internet, But You should be aware of what you are covered for travel protection.
