While cycling on the road, Pai in northern Thailand, I held off to see some very interesting signs on the roadside to a place called Pura Vida. The name "Pura Vida" evoked some wonderful memories that I get from Costa Rica, Pura Vida, which had (literally, Pure Life) is a popular attitude and a greeting that is an essential part of the culture of Costa Rica
Fascinated by the search for Pura Vida in Thailand, I followed the instructions and ended with avillage on the hills about 5 km away from the town of Pai. Built on the site of a plantation of orange trees, this charming boutique resort with 8 bungalows some manicured gardens - the heart is a large pond with water lilies and other aquatic plants.
Admiring the gardens, the owners - to participate in an old Dutch and Thai wife, invited me to the hill tribes for a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Chatting with the Dutch, was a small story of how he ended up inThailand as a hotelier. to shift course on its decision was a wonderful meeting Thai lady who later became his wife. Show me around, I was impressed with the solid construction of relatively large bungalow. When I asked the owner, the position of his name was visited Costa Rica - some time later, when he decided to Thailand to build a small tourist haven, Pura Vida has decided that the place would be a catchy name for his new club .He is absolutely right - Pura Vida is a name more tourists to remember.
Pura Vida is one of the new bungalows in Pai with splashed on the scene in November 2006.
